Welcome to our unforgettable Murray River Cruises! We’re excited to introduce our Deposit Protection Program designed for peace of mind and flexible planning. For just $120 per person, our guests now have the freedom to transfer their deposit to another cruise departing within 12 months if plans change. This means you can book with confidence, knowing that your deposit is protected and your dream river journey is as flexible as your schedule. Whether you’re ready to cruise now or need to adjust, we’ve made it easy to enjoy the magic of the Murray River when it’s best for you.
Deposit Protection is a program offered to guests of Murray River Paddlesteamers, allowing guests to book confidently and transfer their deposit payment toward any future Murray River Paddlesteamers cruise if they are unable to travel on the originally booked cruise. Deposit Protection is optional, can be activated for any reason, and requires a $120 per person fee at the time of booking.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please review these Deposit Protection Conditions carefully.
Availability: Deposit Protection is available only at the time of booking and must be paid together with the initial deposit for your cruise. It cannot be added after the deposit payment is made.
Non-Refundable Fee: The $120 per person fee for Deposit Protection is non-refundable.
Activation Process: To activate Deposit Protection and amend a booking, guests must confirm in writing (via email or letter) to the Murray River Paddlesteamers Reservations Team, specifying the new cruise and travel date.
Flexible Rebooking: Deposit Protection allows guests to change their booking for any reason up to 90 days before their cruise departure date. The protection plan will become invalid within 90 days of departure or once full payment is made. Written notification from the guest must be received by Murray River Paddlesteamers within this 90-day timeframe to activate Deposit Protection.
Future Rebooking Options: Once Deposit Protection is activated, guests may select any Murray River Paddlesteamers cruise and cabin category departing within 12 months of the plan’s activation, subject to availability.
Amended Booking Terms: When Deposit Protection is applied, the deposit is transferred to the amended booking. No additional fees apply. Deposit Protection cannot be repurchased for an amended booking.
Applicable to All Guests: Deposit Protection must be purchased for all guests included in a single booking.
Travel Insurance: Deposit Protection is not a substitute for travel insurance, which we recommend guests have in place separately.
